This is a big deal beyond this fake sports league. I am really hesitant for my kids to play games online specifically because of the misplaced profanity and racism. Note, I’m not opposed to well-placed profanity.

Modders doing obviously illegal work should learn to stay quiet and keep their attention seeking egos in check until they have something to release.

If someone knows, please tell me, why do they keep announcing their projects just to have them shut down. Why not work on them until they are ready and release it anonymously?

I really don’t think it’s aged badly at all. I went back to play it after over a dozen years and it was incredibly easy to just pick it back up. And the core system at the foundation of the game such as runes and loot makes it way better than most of the newer games like it.

Trackballs are great for HTPCs, too. Put one on an armrest and you’re set; no need to worry about mouse maneuvering space or dealing with a trackpad.

I would love to see Super Mario All-Stars + World using the New Super Mario Bros. engine. I still say Mario All-Stars was one of the greatest remasters ever.

I would legit no life the shit out of a D2 remaster. Like, easily, a week of nothing but D2.

Ya it’s almost as if they would just re-make the original games that everybody loved and added a tiny bit of improvements, they’d make a fortune.

No joke. I gave YEARS of my life to this game, I’m prepared to do it again. This is all anyone ever wanted, I’ll trade up my D3 code for it and never look back.

I have well over 1000 hours of Diablo 1, 2 and 3 play and there is definitely something special about Diablo 2. There are some antiquated systems and nuisances but there is a level of satisfaction that wasn’t matched in D3.

Except that D3 improved substantially after the expansion. It is a very different game compared to the product that launched.

Right? Blizzard gets a ton of shit. Diablo 2 however is the reason I let them get away with so much. If they remaster this game and port it to consoles and in the very spirit of the game add in new gear that takes time to accomplish. Man.

D2 is still a lot of fun to play and it’s an absolute blast if you can get an old-gamer friend or two to team up and run through the content. I can’t get any of my friends to play D3 lol. Every Ladder reset, there is 8 of us playing through D2. If I suggest D3, it’s all moans and groans and they all HAVE the game already, they just didn’t like it. My brother played through it once and hasn’t touched it since.
