She both mesmerizes and terrifies me.

Or maybe Alexis Arquette is just a blind spot for you?

People were visibly angry back then. When they tried to reason that he was a television actor in an interview an emotional Eugene Levy rattled off the titles for pretty much every film that John Candy had been in while his voice broke. Still wrecks me to think of it.

And here he is before his geeky makeunder:

Peggy Lee was left out in 2003, and she’d been Oscar-nominated for both acting (Pete Kelly’s Blues) and music (Lady and the Tramp)! That was a real error.

TCM does do it better than anyone, and this year they had it out on Dec. 10, but RE-CUT it after Zsa Zsa, Carrie and Debbie all died and had it updated and on the air by Dec. 29th!

Every year a couple names like this come up, and leave me wondering why people are upset. I suppose Shandling did enough movie work to get a spot, but even so the bulk of his stuff was for TV. Very nearly all of Florence Henderson’s work was for TV. The Academy Awards isn’t a television awards show, it makes sense to

My gut reaction to that was “Sit down, Biel! No one is here for you!”

Dear Academy: Borrow/pay for TCM’s year-end “In Memoriam” and just let it play on the Oscar telecast. TCM’s 3-4 minute montages never miss anyone, they are as classy as hell and don’t feel cheesy or exploitative.

“I know that’s the only way she’d ever get on camera at the Oscars, but that’s no reason to punish us”

The problem is that these companies tend to cost people more money than they actually make. MLMs are incredibly predatory that way. I don’t know anything about R+F or LulaRoe specifically, but Mary Kay in particular has a reputation of its salespeople going into debt chasing the dream of earning money as a

R+F is the bane of my online existence at the moment. My best friend does it and their “guidelines” for social media posts—not just R+F but everything—are surreal.

The sentimental feelings about the people selling them are such an integral part to the marketing strategy. It’s so manipulative—not just of the consumer, but the employee selling the goods.

Oh and also, after posting something nice and positive, can I just say that I. Can’t. Even. with the network marketing/pyramid scheme boom that’s happening on my news feed right now? If I see one more post about magical, magical gut health littered with emojis and thinspiration I’m throwing my computer off the roof.

This is a daily reminder for Donald J. Trump to go fuck himself.

I dunno... The NYT has been ripping pretty hard into the Trump administration. What are they supposed to do, post Trump’s picture on the front page of every issue with the headline “This Fuckstick Is Fucking Hitler, Ya Dumb Shits”?

Trump supporters waved around Russian flags with “TRUMP” plastered on them, a prank by 22-year-old Jason Charter and 36-year-old Ryan Clayton. “Most people didn’t realize it was a Russian flag, or they didn’t care,” Charter told the Atlantic in a phone interview.

To paraphrase (poorly):

How did anyone miss that Left Eye was crazy??
