I feel like it was pretty obvious he was enthralled by the idea of ‘his purpose’ being to end the war right then and there. I feel like at the point most GoT detractors are more guilty of lazy thinking than the showwriters they accuse the same of.

The show’s writing is pretty good. The acting’s still great. They’re the same actors, performing the sams roles, so that’s a ridiculous complaint.
