Give me break. Obama is lucky to have accomplished anything over the past couple of years. Congress is nothing but an impediment. Given their lack of participation, Obama has performed miracles.

The "smoke" is caused by water injection used on take off. When I was working on these beauties 56 years ago (!)we put 350 gallons of water in the tank and this was injected into the intake to compress the air going in during take off.

Donating ships is easy, but they require a lot of upkeep. Unless your museum group can show they can at least keep the ship painted (to say nothing of more major repairs needed every couple decades), they are going to scrap it, sink it, or sell it instead. Letting it rust away in public sight makes the Navy look bad.

When i said MC12, i meant that this car is designed racecar first, roadcar second. They probably have read the rules before they build it, otherwise it would be a bit embarassing for a company like Ford.

Art. 3.5.5 leaves a lot of room to do that.
It allows air intakes "exclusively for channeling air to mechanical components"
