I got high-res scans from my negatives when I got them developed because I knew a lot would need work. I think they transferred well. Wha Polaroid were you using?

This is the Canadian coupe for sale in Vegas. A lot of the four door GLIs  making the rounds on VWVortex are rough, then again these are 34 year old cars...

The one above I salvaged from too low of f-stop, I’ve been posting a couple on the Radwood facebook page and under the radwood instagram tag.

It is still a fantastic car today, it was a blast at hooptiecon on the parade laps!

There are more than a few that have been imported over the years, in fact a gray Canadian origin coupe has just popped up for sale in Vegas again, but not many have been identified as sold new from a US dealer like mine was in 1984.

The official Volkswagen name is Avus and they were standard on GTI and GLIs until they ran out and had to put 13" tarantulas on late model GLIs; one of the interesting facts I learned trying to dig into the history of my GLI there. I have no idea about the Fox though.

I saw those! It was cool to see other people shooting film there. I was running around with my Minolta and a 55mm prime shooting on Fuji X-TRA 400

Ah the joys of being parked next to Jason Cammisa’s cars, the GLI will keep photo bombing the 190E for a while as more radwood shots come out.

Don’t forget the South African Citi, Mk1 Rabbit base made up until 2009!

A software flash and CA 91 premium can get EA888 GTIs to 300hp on stock internals. With a bit of working over and race fuel, 400 looks like an easy target.

Thanks for the vote! There is one other member of the Radwood facebook group that has a diesel coupe but all the rest of the GLI coupes that I know about are up in Canada. I have yet to see another Mk1 coupe in person.

In a plot twist, I piked up a Yakima Standard windscreen for my old 1A bars so I will have a rack for the GLI this time around, but no basket.

From the organization’s website, everyone loves period correct accessories.

When will they release a HA-420 Type R?

Oh the want is strong for the Saab hauler with the TVR decal on the door!

The ‘80s black fender cladding is back in style. And look at my ground clearance!

He knows what he has

What isn’t mentioned is that none of the dancers made it off the set unharmed by the GT.

Isn’t Eau Rouge corner 3, the down hill flick to the left? The rest of the tun 4-5 complex is Raidillon up the hill. So he flipped on the runoff to Raidillon?
