The “Superman Returns wasn’t that bad and Routh deserved another crack at it” club is hereby called to order and all members are advised to draw near and make themselves heard.

I will forever maintain that Superman Returns is not only a great Superman movie, but that Routh solidified himself as the obvious Reeves heir apparent.

Nothing against Cavill who’s had the material hurt him more than his performance, but I wish Routh could have had more time in the role. 

He has to be the actual straight-up Superman Returns Superman. Just has to be.
