Unfucking believable.

The problem is it’s just so uninspired.

We need to stop counting people. Manually counting people is inefficient and, more importantly, inaccurate.

With that being said, nothing will change until WE stop saying it.

Whoops, he now has a 100% chance of getting away with this.

Here’s why (ignoring institutional racism or a second) the cop has a better than 50/50 chance of getting away with this killing.

General question to all: Do you foresee a point will blackface will no longer be offensive?

I suspected something like this might happen: harsh verdict, light sentence. It’s an attempt to pacify the outraged while quelling the community.

A reasonable person might believe the shooters’ words and conclude intent

Well, you’re intent to be an asshole is clear enough.

That’s simply a different way of saying premeditation. Premeditation means that she intended to kill him prior to actually pulling the trigger, or she planned some crime knowing someone may be killed in the process.

Nothing in that link supports your assertion. It says manslaughter is if someone “recklessly causes the death of another individual.”

What you’re arguing is that it can’t be murder without premeditation.

Again, says who?

What her intentions while walking down the hall mean nothing to me in the grand scheme of her singular statement.

Well, she SAID she intended to kill him, so...

What? No it isn’t. Why would it be? Where are you even getting that from?

The trial was live-streamed, so I’m not sure why you think people would be so mistaken on her intent?

You may not agree with it but if this jury was smart enough to completely ignore that dumb Castle Doctrine argument they’re definitely smart enough to choose which sentence fit the crime more than your or I could do.

I feel like when she pointed the gun and shot him, that was the point where the intent she had mattered.
