Oh wow, that movie was hot garbage.

You can see Dwight ALMOST go for the rebound and think, “Eh, why start now?”

That’s not exactly a surprising move given what he was doing with the ball all game.

To give you an idea of Mack’s longevity, he’s still 1000 wins free and clear of the second-place all-time manager, and he has a sub-.500 record.

When I learned that Vin Scully called games that Jackie Robinson played in my head pretty much exploded.

Kerr is the best part. +1

Is there a lazier argument than “He only won with other good players?”

I see it as a greater version of Jeter’s last game — the come-from-behind win with a feat from a player/5-time champion with longevity and sustained greatness but never the “best” at his position, channeling his mystified/debunked “clutch” reputation to garner a meaningless win for a team outside of the playoffs. If

As a Hornets fan, I enjoyed this too. Heat win that game we get Hawks in the first round, Cavs in the 2nd. Now it’s Bosh-less Heat in the 1st, Raptors/Pacers in the 2nd. Thanks, Celtics!

Thanks for stopping by, Simmons.

Also, I think Diaw’s importance has been overstated. He’s a mismatch for the small lineup, but that got blown up in the game that SA won because both of the Warriors’ quality bigs were out.

I felt a little embarrassed as a Dubs’ fan when I saw the wave...and the more I thought about it, the more I was really okay with it.

Timmy isnt getting very many minutes in a series against the Warriors I can guarantee you that. He got systematically dismantled in PnRs in game 3 and Kerr didn’t even keep going to that well.

My main issues have more to do with the salary cap and that it causes a lack of champions. The Warriors are slowly changing my opinion, but nine teams have won in my lifetime and the smaller market teams may as well not exist. It’s not like baseball or football where one free agent doesn’t mean much. Small market

No player on the team is in the top 25 minutes per game. Team is really smart about minutes distribution

Another important thing that allowed them to accomplish 73 wins- up until just a few games ago, they never had the #1 seed locked up.

The reporter interviewing Curry after the game slipped up and said “79" instead of “73.” I was really hoping Curry would say “79 is for next year” or something like that.

For the sake of argument, I can think of 3.

Regardless if they win the finals or not I think 73-9 is about the negativity towards their 2015 finals victory, achieving this really brings additional validity to last season. As an organization to of been so successful and innovative in 15' to only achieve a higher mark the following year and possibly the highest

The simple, vain desire to be the best ever is what let them achieve it.
