Counterpoint you have to be extremely quick and balanced to put a rebound like that back on frame. also he wasn’t overly concerned about a keeper who was more or less helpless on the ground. a lot of people will make too much of an effort to avoid the keeper in that situation.

If he makes Donovan/Dempsey level, we all should be very happy. And usmnt desperately needs someone to fill in for them since they’ve aged out. That’s my hope/expectation. He does look like he could be as good as them.

I think Luke Walton deserves a ton of credit here too. They would not have gotten to 73 had he not started 24-0.
