I was somewhat blown away by the Ws game...and when I read deadspin’s post on Kobe’s game, I literally thought they were kidding. Pretty cool and I’m a big cynic about kobe. Sure he took 50 shots but then again why the hell not?

The crazy thing is, having watched a bunch of their games, how it feels like they have way more than nine losses. I don’t see how they could keep this up next year, the way the last couple of months have been. But who knows.

They couldn’t have done it without it!

Looking at this as a flop is not a bad basis for a satisfying key and peele skit.

I love Kareem. Great to see how much love he’s getting today. There’s a lot of competition for all time greatest Laker. But Abdul Jabbar will always be my favorite.

Yeah I’ve thought about the 2001 mariners a lot this year. Baseball is more if a crap shoot in the playoffs, of course. But there are still plenty of twists on the road ahead, methinks.

Plus, if they get it together, there’s a chance they could go 4-0 in the eastern conference finals, while spurs/warriors go 7.

Yeah, The Warriors did The Impossible—they made regular season NBA games interesting. dramatic even.

Yeah to me that and winning three out of four this season (including two in the past week) are gonna help their confidence against the spurs a lot.

Breaking their 17 year (or whatever) losing streak in San Antonio is a pretty huge accomplishment for the Ws too, at least to get that chip off their shoulder before the playoffs start. San Antonio has had a big psychological edge over GS for a looong time but that could be shifting now.

I remember in the eighties hearing a throwaway line in a news report that Oliver North got his hair cut weekly. So I always assumed that was just standard for fascists.

I don’t really like that show but it comes on after the news so I’ve seen repeats a dozen or so times. It has its moments. Anyway I always assumed they were fabulously wealthy but no idea what any of them do for a living.

Tct wasn’t great and didn’t hold together that well but it made me laugh consistently throughout the movie.

If the warriors had to play the bucks, Sixers, and Lakers in the playoffs, they would have no chance at a title.
