In all previous incidents charges were not pressed by the witnesses, for whatever reason. The officers on the scene noted in the reports that had charges been pressed he would’ve never been allowed to carry a gun again. It is truly perplexing why they did not press charges.

Seriously. Along with his expression afterwards. How could she not have caught that?

The CBS show Elementary is a modern NYC take on Sherlock Holmes, that also features police misconduct in literally every episode. Seriously, part of Holmes 2000's whole schtick is that he can do what the police can’t, including coercing confessions and tampering with evidence.

This comment causes me great conchurn.

it’s her husband that has the lead foot. she’s gotta make up for her lower velocity with more mass.

If Obregon (a Hispanic surname at that) was raised and identifies with her Hispanic

I mean if our understandings of humanity’s origins are to be believed, aren’t we all African in ancestry? Millennia of cultural changes (and of course mutations) make us what we are today.

“Shopkeep!” peak arrogance, im dead

Your take is not informed. Many Latinos and others of Hispanic descent identify with their cultural ethnicities, not their US Census-assigned race. Ask a Guatemalan what race they are and they say Guatemalan. A Mexican’s “race” is Mexican, or they might even choose the region or state they came from. The Census, thus

Obligatory.

That would make the “writers” the equivalent of dumpster divers; me likey.

the majority of GMG material comes from reddit.

Meh, some of the older ones could be straight swipes, but more than a few come off more as homages.

That’s not to say that everybody’s somberly donning their Symmetra tuxedo skins and putting on an awkward approximation of a funeral for the beleaguered love of their digital lives.
