Great, I’m happy for you! I do have to wonder why you’re so insecure that you feel the need to defend your purchase by trashing other people’s, though. Why is that?

Sounds like an urban legend to me.
jesus, someones got a bit of chip on his shoulder! lol...
Agreed. This is awesome. I don’t even care what others say. The tone of the article is kinda being judgey but I suppose it has to be so as to not officially condone such a thing. People are waaaay too uptight.
I think the guy that filmed this is a snitch and I hope every car he ever owns suffers from constant electrical gremlins as karmic payback.
Bad drivers have been running into the backs of street sweepers long before cars ever had “Autopilot”. I think the new rule moving forward should be if a car has a steering wheel it is your fault when your car hits something.
Tesla is being sued because some guy’s kid died after ignoring all warning signs not to 100% trust autopilot, and that he should still be paying attention to the road in case the car doesn’t detect something. Goodyear is being sued because RV manufacturers used tires designed for low-speed delivery vehicles, and then…
So one of the claims is the sweeper was visible for 20 seconds and the vehicle took no action to avoid it. If only there was a way the car could have been manually manipulated to change course away from a stationary object by some sentient being responsible for operating the vehicle.
Oh, I’ve plenty to go around.
I’m not absolving the city/state from blame, either, but there’s just something fucked about just standing around and not doing anything to help the situation.
I know at least eighteen people who would disagree with you. You can alert someone (MDOT, cops) to the problem after the first dude blows his tire.
Well, shit, let two or three guys blow their tires to make a point, but how depraved do you have to be to just stand there while, count them, nine-fucking-teen people do it?
Even dumbass YouTubers would have figured it out after the novelty wore off. Serving their community, my ass.
Exactly this. It’s a pretty shitty thing to do.
So...they stood around watching while nineteen people in a not-so-high-income part of Detroit suffered triple-digit (if not more) losses to their private property instead of, oh, I don’t know, parking their fucking news van somewhere it fucking BLOCKED the fucking pot hole? Or lighting fucking flares? Or putting…
I never tried that until the View Image button went away, but if you’re using FireFox, there’s an add-on literally called “Google Image Search View Image Button” that actually brings it back to normal.
Because it doesn’t always give you the image, sometimes you just get the thumbnail.
Why was it Google’s responsibility to do anything? Getty Images should be denying direct linking to their images like angelfire did back in the day and keep search engines from indexing your pages. Secure your own damn product! Also Bing images still has view image. Is Getty gonna sue Microsoft next? Are they going to…
On some occasions, this will open a thumbnail of the image instead of the full resolution.
I HIGHLY doubt that hunters and fisherman make up a majority of Jeep’s ownership. That’s the brand image they are selling, but majority of sales are to people that have never left gone off road.
