Same goes for their washers and dryers. I’d play it safe and avoid Samsung appliances altogether.

Absolutely don’t unless you want a rusted-out washer within 2 years. The dryer also has started making a noise that I can best describe as a train going down the tracks. Samsung support’s answer was basically a giant middle finger.

Their appliances are garbage and their support is worse.

And it’s delicious. One of my favorite sparkling wines.

I think it may have been a Discovery Zone - a 90s competitor to Chuck E Cheese’s. I seem to reclall them having something similar to this, but I could be wrong.

Aren’t these just repackaged black Eneloop Pro/XX batteries? They have a higher capacity, but can’t be recharged as many times. I think its 500 charges, vs 2000 for the white.

That looks nice, but not having the flat/90-degree/wall hugging plugs is an immediate no-go for me. 99% of the time I need a power strip, it is because the outlet is going to be behind some piece of furniture (desk, entertainment center, bed). I don’t want to have to keep my everything 3-4 inches away from the wall so

A Rolykit! I had a blue one.

The setup I was given when I started my current job included 2 different monitors (plus laptop screen). It drove me crazy. Especially since you could never get the colors to match on any of them.

Reminds me a lot of the Memphis style of design which was all the rage in the late 80s/90s. I kinda want to put one of these on a desk with a vintage Mac, just for nostalgia purposes.

Go for the Aztek. Try to find a 2001 GT with Leather, the Pioneer 10 speaker system, and HUD.

Until a few months ago I also had an Element. I very rarely had people in the backseat (no kids here), but when I did that was a complaint I heard almost every time.

I would like to upgrade to LED bulbs, and we have replaced a few here and there in our house. The trouble is, even $13 for six of them is still pricey. Our master bathroom alone takes 11(!) bulbs. I haven’t gone around and counted every bulb in my house, but a quick run down tells me that we’d need to swap out 40-60

Do they take the unit from you or just give you the refund?

I had an Aztek and quite liked it, besides the terrible mechanicals GM put into it. It was decent to drive, plenty comfortable, and had a crap-ton of features for a car from 2001. I still miss it every time I see one on the road.

I couldn’t agree more. I had a Brother paperweight, er, printer that failed in under a year. The replacement they sent lasted a couple of months. The replacement for the replacement didn’t work out of the box. Brother support was beyond useless and they refused to do anything but ship the same model that failed 3

I haven’t used the system, and while it might functionally be alright, the design (a subjective thing, I’ll admit) is terrible. It looks far, far too busy and cluttered for something that you aren’t supposed to be looking at while driving.

If I can think of any companies that I don’t want becoming tech companies its GM and FCA. I’d very much rather they partner with another company to bring their ideas into reality. History has (generally) proven that they can’t make things reliable, intuitive, or with any sense of decent design (see any car

I hate to sound like an Apple apologist or fanboy but...

I have always wanted to take one of these, paint it white, put an orange stripe down the side and pretend that I was driving one of the Disney World Monorails.

Agreed, but a word of warning to everyone: This stuff is a nightmare to get out of your clothes if it makes it through the wash and into the dryer. Trust me, I've done it. Twice. In the past 2 months.
