My free trial (which was one year, and then got extended to 13 months, and then got extended again to 18 months) ends on July 14. They know exactly what they’re doing by premiering it right after all those January 2020 free trials end.

Dammit that’s like three weeks after my free year of Apple TV expires. Surely they don’t expect me to actually pay for Apple TV.
When it comes to inclusion? That’s a totally valid criticism.
I mean really, seeing Walker lose the Cap job and his benefits that quickly threatened to nudge this show closer to sci-fi.
That film wasn’t great, but people taking outrage at the monster comment are working fairly hard to take it out of context. It starts with Banner saying that he has to leave the team and go into hiding because the world has seen that he’s a monster. She suggests they could run away together. He responds, basically,…
Honestly, the takeaway I got from this was less “Jamie Kennedy isn’t woke enough” but “Jamie Kennedy gotta eat.”
The show is trying to put waaaaay too many characters, each that have good story potential if they were more of a focus, into this series. It’s criminal to toss Isaiah and Nagel in there as asides. Sam and Bucky exploring that story alone could’ve been a series. Them dealing with Walker could be a series unto itself.…
This is why The Dark Knight Returns is the best of the trilogy.
“Bucky got Zola’s version of the super soldier serum and was one of the few people to survive it.”
Not true. Bucky got Zola’s version of the super soldier serum and was one of the few people to survive it. Plus other physical enhancements over the years. Hence why he could go toe to toe with Cap and toss people around like rag dolls in Civil War. Plus he has a vibranium arm.
That boat is absolutely not going to exist by the end of this series. I don’t know if it will be intentionally sacrificed by Sam or not, but with how much time he spent fighting for it I will be shocked if it survives. It might as well be called the S.S. I’m Retiring in Two Weeks.
Yeaaah I did not interpret it that way at all, more that he was saying those on top often do it at every one else’s expense. It also should be noted that the majority of the writers room for this show were black, apparently.
Yeah. When mobile phones became popular and people felt “important” for needing and being able to be reached anywhere, Umberto Eco pointed out that “important” people where precisely those who had the luxury of not being reachable at will.

Give the Deep some credit. The scenes where he tries to help an aquatic friend and gets them horribly killed is a great running joke.
Still, with Tulsa County seeing what its health director called “steep upward trends” of coronavirus cases, it’s a little worrying that the 74-year-old president, the oldest person to hold executive office, chose to gather his own super-spreader event. Is he OK? Is he trying to get out of a second term?
The IRS–wait, let me sure I’ve got this—purposefully sent stimulus checks to more than 1 million dead people? [Politico]
