Who the hell knows what would have happened if he didn’t go into the draft, but the end result is not a bad one.  

The whole idea is that teams pay for current performance, not past performance. So smart teams will pay those guys who were mismanaged in a previous season.

I think the issue is that these players want 10 year contracts. If the norm went back to the 4-5 year contracts for the high end guys it would make a lot more…

Isaiah is 29, on a contract year, and is 5'9" with a messed up hip who is looking for max money. Crowder is a 3 and D guy who struggled on D last year. That Brooklyn pick isn’t likely going to be top 3.

Irving is 25, finally seems healthy, has 2 years left on pretty good deal, and learned for LeBron for the past 3…
