I work in financial services as well. We didn’t do PPP, but I do know SBA loan product and I do know small balance commercial lending. I did speak a lot with my brother-in-law about it who is a chief credit officer at a bank that did extensive PPP lending.

All you had to to do to be eligible was be able to prove up that you existed, had payroll and a few other necessary pieces of documentation.

On the one hand “Space is a luxury only rich Boomers can afford” but on the other hand ... kill useable square footage by breaking up the master bedroom because you want privacy when you are unconscious?

Except in the case of SPN, there has never been a “tease” about queer baiting. Dean & Cas were consistently heterosexual throughout the entire run of the show. The queer stuff between them is entirely manufactured by a narrow segment of the fanbase.

I can totally see her spinning “I Took A Pill in Ibiza” while popping a pill in a club in Ibiza in an effort to use the meta-ness of the moment to cover up her horrible DJ skills.

Well, sure, but I was at least going to entertain the hypothetical possibility.

I really wish Aunt Becky would lean into the villainy here.  Like, start taking the roles of bad guys in Lifetime movies or the lover who’s secretly a bad person which makes it easier for the two romantic leads to have an emotional affair that leads to a breakup.

If her lack of discernable skills meant the only way she could live was influencing, I’d at least have a degree of understanding — not sympathy — for her going on this apology/image rehabilitation tour.

I swear to fuck if you say anything bad about the Wendy’s Twitter account I will dox your mom and try to trick your sister’s pharmacist into replacing her insulin with sugar water!

I brought it up as a part of describing my reaction to all of this, which is that people’s reactions are more about the company than the actual effect. If this were some random company and they came out after this and issued a standard fare mea culpa and put the screen in, this would be a non-event in the gaming flame

Some games put them in the loading screens, and I think it’s typically games where they suspect it may happen more. A lot of people are saying CDPR mimicked a “seizure inducing machine used by doctors” which is not really an accurate description of that machine.

The clutter factor is, honestly, my personal first world problem that drives me up a wall regardless of me knowing it’s a first world problem. We have an island. Work took us to a community with mostly new construction, so we got an island. And yeah, stuff piles up on. That decoration that needs to be returned because

Setting aside what people with a lot of money can afford, the reason they are popular in even smaller new construction or remodels is that they provide you with more of what is at an absolutely premium in the kitchen ... usable counter space. for prep, quick meals, and so on.

Yep, that’s about all I can think of. It was like, the one semi-interesting thing about the Fallout 4 plot. I figured they would have your son working in the Institute, but I did not figure that you would be unable to redeem him. That was actually a shocking plot twist that, because the writing was not that great,

What Gwen seems to be referring to, here, is a wedding with masks. Okay. Fair... I guess.

On balance I’d say SPN is worth it. The first five seasons are good, iconic pieces of genre fiction. After that, the plotlines are “meh” for several seasons, and the interpersonal dynamics get a bit repetitive, but there are enough good “monster of the week” episodes and also unique one-offs where they do something

There are multiple types of SPN fans on the internet I think. There’s your average SPN online fan who may enjoy some fanfic (or may not) from time to time but all the while reading it knowing that it’s even cornier than the show (somehow).  There are enough of these people to keep a show afloat.

Honestly this whole story is so bizarre. If you’d told me that a guy who was a solid prosecutor who had one of the toughest and most complex jobs in the business in the 80s would wind up ... well ... here ... then I guess I wouldn’t have believed you.

They must be destroyed by the swift sword of justice
