It’s because these people are too stupid to comprehend what they are doing. It has gotten to the point where it’s no longer amusing or frustrating to witness because they are just too far gone. I too am building a new gaming PC but I also discovered that for new cards (like nvidia’s 3000 series) it’s a bit of a challenge finding them for unscalped prices. Couple of places I checked have a backorder of 2-3 months...

Well, there were noticeable differences between the PS4 and Xbox One X that the average person could observe. Not sure why you feel this will be much different.

But Xbox does have meaningfully better hardware. Sans the SSD of course.

I hear you. Those are (and the new installments will be) very good games. Personally I’ve also gotten a bit bored of Sony’s formula which seems to be making games that I think I would rather watch a movie version of. And I kinda “got bored” of the Souls formula. But that's just me.

It’s weird, I used to care about exclusives quite a bit but now I really don’t care. There are already so many games out there to play I’d rather do that then spend $500 on a PS5 for 4 or 5 exclusives I may want to play that are still a long ways away from release.
