Agreed. And this is why I like horror on screen to be done as a tv series. When you are watching a horror movie, I find myself internally accounting for the time spent on things and roughly figuring out when the “scares” will start.

The closest experience I have is playing Ultima Online and working my ass off to get a tower and find a space for it to set up my own shop. I was successful and moved almost all of my belongings and crafting supplies to my tower and new shop only to lose dial up access for a couple of weeks.

The difference is that before, Game Pass was still kind of in the demo/beta stage. Hell it was dirt cheap on PC. And on Xbox it was a confusing system with Xbox Live Gold, Games with Gold, Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate.
