Not really. Unless I missed in the article somewhere, buried underneath all of the advertisements, even if a PS5 has backwards compatibility, I don’t believe that means all of your saves will carry over from PS4 to PS5.

Sony can't even be bothered to make all PS4 games playable on PS5, I doubt they would say 'fuck it' and do what you described which would incur a bunch of additional costs for them to release a product for a user base which, according to Sony, is a small % which they deemed is not worth the effort for.
