Since Trump has never opened his books, all we know is that his dad had roughly $200,000,000 in New York real estate in 1970 that Trump eventually took over from him. We don’t know if Trump beat the S&P index during this time. We don’t know if Trump actually made money building skyscrapers, or if he would have

I still like Michael Dukakis

That’s just not true. Donald Trump has openly discussed the use of nuclear weapons to further the U.S. politics agenda, and abandoning NATO. Both of these things are way more likely to lead to apocalyptic war than anything Sec’y Clinton has done, or has ever said she would do.

The sad thing is is I think most people with a functioning brain and who follows this coverage even sporadically realizes this, and it is so fucking annoying.

Vote for whatever candidate tickles your pickle, and stop crying about people trying to get you to vote for one of the top candidates. Literally the entire point of a campaign is to convince people to vote for one person or the other. Are we all sick of it? Yes. You’re not special.

No one gives a shit about you or your vote. In fact, can’t you just vote for Stein or Johnson without talking about it? Really. We don’t care.

Oh God, yes, please this. I would watch the hell out of that show.

One of the great honors of my life was when my elementary school held an invention fair and invited Donald Trump to help judge the competition. He didn’t show up like he promised, but he sent a representative with his submission, a pair of rollerblades with a wheel cover so you could walk on grass.

It’s touch and go whether Keef, or Iggy Pop, will become the first living mummy in human history.

Likewise. This started at home. Being more or less friends, or at least not totally unfriendly, with myself, I finally persuaded myself to quit around 13 years ago. (Though for a while there, we weren’t on speaking terms).

Individualism has had many pernicious effects. One is that too many people regard good (or bad) health as purely and simply the result of individual choices. They don’t stop to consider, or know little about, the social and economic determinants of health (and of illness).

So... I’m definitely being ghosted and I’m way more upset than I guess I thought I’d be. I was going to go into this big long thing about the whole history but it doesn’t really seem worth it.

Starting a brag thread this week because I’m so excited!

In fairness, pancreatic cancer kills most of the people it hits, no matter how smart they are about treatment.

Did the mom at least give the new kid a chance? Maybe he was much better than her own kid! Upgrades!

I just keep finding reasons to use this.

Uh what about Guliani wearing the “Make Mexico Great Again Also” hat? It’s deeply confusing and vaguely unsettling.

I await your new film with great anticipation.
