Didn’t he suggest he’d be fine with players profiting off their likeness if it doesn’t come directly from the school? Is that outcome suboptimal? So at ND, the school would be giving a scholarship (some guys will take advantage of the value, others would not) and the stars would presumably get large endorsement deals.
