There’s something about the Switch that imbues it with such a joy and love and respect that I just don’t feel for my other consoles. I adore it.

I’ve read that a lot of it has to do with the video game requirement of mapping a 3D space in your head (most modern games at least). It apparently has a similar effect as traveling to new and unknown places which your brain has to conceptualize.

its also realistic in how robots have been / will be designed. When you try to emulate humans too closely, it delves into the uncanny. Big eyes allow us to empathize more (like with babies)
