I’m not quite sure we’ve been reading the same blog.

Serious question: do you vote in midterm elections, primaries, and off-year state and local elections? Because if not, you’re not being held down by the man, you’re just jerking off to your own sense of superiority.

A lot of people don’t understand that you don’t have to like someone in order to vote for them. You’re not going to date them, they’re not going to be your roomate. Vote for the most competent, qualified and reasonable candidate who actually has a chance to win. And we all know who that candidate is.

The problem with “protest voting” is that there is no space to fill in your motive on the ballot. Protest voting (or write-ins) is just about the laziest and most meaningless way to protest. At least the people that stayed home saved time and gas.
