Yes, agree that the article was pretty good, for the novice. I need to check and see if “Car and Driver” has a review. I heartily agree that the Corvette market is NOT your Mclaren/Mercedes/Ferrari-esq types of “wow, look at me” drivers (that also buy pretty sailboats, yet never raise a sail).

The ZR1 is built on the foundation of a $60k car. And yet it’s still a very good foundation. I think I preferred it when people were slapping different brand badges where the original ones were. You know, like putting the BMW roundel on a Kia.

Sounds a lot like Kurt is still butt hurt he wasn’t invited to the initial press gathering. Expecting it to have the same interior as cars that cost more and can’t touch its performance......  you can’t have everything, especially on a budget. And there are plenty of  complaints with issues on those $175k slower cars. 

The current Vette is already a mid engine... A front-mid, whereas the new one will be a rear-mid.

That is SO opposite the sense I got from owners regarding the 5.5L Kompressor.  Supposedly fragile and expensive to fix- most of the advice I got was to go with the W211 E63 instead, more power and more reliable without forced induction.  Otherwise, I probably would have bought an E55 a while ago.

That’s a very narrow view of what AI actually is or how it can be applied.
