Well I had a 95 tacoma with the 22R and it was amazing and a 2011 E90 335i that was a nightmare (electric water pump, AC condenser, hpfp, CAN communication issues that required 2 weeks at the dealer and a whole new gauge cluster). yaaaay anecdotes.

And hookers! And cocaine for those hookers...and a little for me

I may only be speaking for myself and I don’t mean to sound rude but...no thanks. The paragraph you wrote is more than enough to get the gist of your idea. Blah blah blah complicated jet engine. Blah blah thrust vectoring. Blah blah general spirit of a manual.
You are sooo painfully stupid and sound like a 12 year old in this comment. You don’t have to “run” any fancy math. No “physicist” required. This was literally a high school physics exercise when I was in school. 2 or 3 simple equations and basic estimation is all you need and it isn’t even counter intuitive. It is…
That is not true. DCT’s have odd and even gears on different shafts so they already have the next higher and lower gears selected. The “problem” is when you skip a gear and go from 4>2 for instance there would be a pause with a dual clutch. With three clutches you can have 1/4/7/10 on one clutch, 2/5/8/11 on another,…

We had a 9th gen 25oo suburban with the 454 growing up and my dad took us up Engineer’s Pass, CO inside that thing. There were some sketchy parts when jeeps would try to pass going the other direction in narrow areas and a few places it felt like 2 tires were about to fall off a cliff cuz the trail was so narrow. But…
not for the throwout bearing it isn;t
the wires thing is probably referring to cable actuated shifters vs solid mechanical shifters.
The one up 35 towards Duluth?
but can a twin engine airliner stay aloft with 3 engine failures? I think not!
That word...sounds very racist. Not sure if it is but I would refrain from using it lol
That’s how most companies record sales. Once it has been shipped and invoiced to the end customer.
Really been wanting to pick one up but the manuals are hard to find and dealers aren’t dropping the prices like they are with the auto models. You can get an auto for low 30's but the cheapest I have seen a manual is like $38k and it was base model with the ugly wheels and no cooled seats.
Yeah I drove a Gen Coupe 3.8 with track pack when helping my brother in law pick out a new car. I almost bought the thing myself! Manual trans, 4 pot/2pot Brembos, nice little wing, great looking wheels, and that exhaust sounded awesome. Interior was leather and nice and it handled better than my 2011 335i and 2005…
