Then don’t buy this car. Get a fucking miata. I am going to pointlessly complain the other way just to cancel out your idiocy.

STFU and get out of my Jalopnik. Is there a way to block idiots like you?

It is definitely red

Same in ATL. Sometimes even half the cost to go to the airport for example.

I’m an engineer with a decent salary and still live paycheck to paycheck because I am bad with money and like nice shit. I have worked hard and I don’t think the economy has failed me and I don’t blame anyone. I have thought about doing uber/lyft in my free time to make a bit more to do fun things.

Plus they corner like a top-heavy drunk German barmaid

In the video, which pixel was the firebird?

-Bump did anyone ever find the problem? Also, how often should I change the oil?

They lose money on the X models now though right?

Well voltage alone doesn’t kill you but high voltage you don’t need much current to kill you.

800V though you need arc-flash suit. Ive seen someone get arc-flashed. Basically vaporized.

Wut...30k miles over 36 months is 10k miles per year...which is exactly what Tom McParland wrote.

Yeah the 997 looks nicer with way better interior and the PDK is great (but who knows about maintenance costs or how long they actually last and they are very expensive to service unlike a normal manual).

Why is that? The 996TT and 997.1TT motors were based on the old air-cooled racing Mezger engine which is an amazing piece of engineering. They do not have the IMS problems like the rest of the 996’s and 997.1’s and they have replaceable cylinder liners like a proper racing motor.

You can easily get a good manual 996TT with black interior and around 50k miles for just under $40k USD. I just saw a great 2003 1 owner example sell for $39.5k with all of those desirable options. Very true it doesn’t come with a warranty but of all the cars with 911 turbo performance the Porsche is probably the most

Aren’t there a lot of dropped valves with the LS7? Or is that blown out of proportion? From reading it doesnt seem like the LS7 is the most reliable. Great engine though for sure.

Exactly. The new Accord mentioned in the article has very similar technology.

It has over 1000 Nm from 3k rpm up to almost 8k rpm which makes up some for not having a transmission. Peaky powerful engines are what really benefit from many gears. The electric motors make up for the torque/power deficit down low.

higher number > better. If anything it is worse now because the manufacturer can put the exact same engine in two cars and give them different tunes and one is a 320i and the other is a 328i for lots more $$$

Hooooly....Mackenzie
