I had the same thought. Typically they run about $35. So one person with an overdraft and four people with no fees at all, the average is $7. So it skews the average so much that it’s hard to suss out maintenance and ATM fee averages.

Agreed, both the fees mentioned are on the user’s end.  I don’t overdraft, and by sticking with a large crusty bank, their ATMs are plentiful.

It would be interesting to hear what the fee average drops to if overdraft fees are removed.

What a stupid thing to write.

While I agree that colleges cost more and student-loan debt is on the rise, simply eliminating debt isn’t the answer. That’s not how the real world works. As a student you (usually) have a choice of private vs. state schools (i.e. - costlier or cheaper), working for a scholarship/grant or choosing to pay full price.

Serena Williams, for 3 years straight now, can’t stop yapping about her heroic, never before witnessed feat of combining motherhood and professional sports, after legions of mothers in all sports have done the same thing before her for decades. Kim Clijsters had a child, came back to the US Open unseeded, beat both

Yeah, I mean you call the chair umpire at the US Open final a thief and a liar to his face and scream at him for minutes for simply doing his job enforcing the rules and people start criticizing you. Unbelievable, huh?

Clearly you don’t follow Federer’s career.

People in the sports media have been saying that about Federer for at least the last 6 years or so. He just doesn’t whine about it in public. That is the difference.

“When did the college admissions scandal break?”

I would add, educate family and friends on how to be in your car. As a younger millennial, most of my friends have never been in a car of the same vintage as my truck.

Yeah, I think having a nice stove is also a hack lol.

Any Asian dish using rice noodles usually requires they are steeped in hot water for just a couple minutes; boiling water for this is annoying and takes longer than what they actually cook for. So if you’re doing pho or pad thai or cold noodle dishes this is the way to go.

I feel better. I’m losing weight. I’m cooking with more creativity and enthusiasm than I have in years. I feel more energetic. I’m eating healthy whole foods. I’m not craving desserts or extra snacks because the break from sugar and excess fat fills me up for hours. I no longer fear becoming diabetic. When I take

She’s 80 years old, which means she is not a boomer.

Hehe. In the meantime it looks like my comment to that Xangelix person was dismissed. I reposted it just because I don’t take kindly to being shushed.

Lighten up. People have all kinds of little rituals that make them feel better. Rally caps at baseball games, crossing their fingers for luck, and even praying to St. Anthony to find something. Doesn’t mean they aren’t grateful to the person who actually made the wished for thing happen.

Ah. My mistake. It’s too late for me to edit, so feel free to just dismiss it :D

I have never copy/pasted a comment before. I hope that it’s legible:

I’ve tried scrubbing grills and my many cast-iron pans with multiple methods and never been so happy as when I bought a chainmail scrubber. It is the fastest, easiest, most effective, and least wasteful method.
