This is dumb. Just because people live in areas where rent is high doesn’t mean that downsizing won’t help you save more money. And living in shithole parts of the country where you can get a 1300' 2-bedroom apartment for $750 doesn’t mean that you still can’t downsize and save money, too. Get a roommate to pay you…
How is this advice stupid? Because you choose to pay out the ass for living there while the author is making it work for her? Keep at it, Sisyphus.
“This is BS because it doesn’t apply to me specifically!!”
I live in San Francisco. I went from paying around $2500/mo for a studio apartment to paying around $1900/mo for a 2-bedroom I share. Both are admittedly insanely expensive, but by living with another person I’m saving $600/mo. It is possible, even here.
Because it wasn’t even the best Marvel film, nor even in the top 3 comic book films released last year. So it is representation not based on merit, which is bullshit.
Only if employers have so much power and are in such tight and widespread collusion to suppress wages, that there is simply no option but poor jobs.
Agreed, screw them.
Yeah, show them what an anchor for great union jobs is when the assholes in office sour the deal, and the company leaves the area.
These are just leeches who hope to be the next Cortez. (Rep, not Conquistador)
“We want good jobs”
agreed, politicians trying to make a name for themselves.
If I were Amazon, I’ll pull out altogether.
I had zero problem calling it shady, at least among friends. WTF wears a noose around their neck 45 minutes after an attack? Wouldn’t that be the very first thing you’d take off? Seriously? I actually an almost perfect gut about such things. I knew the second I saw it that Tawana Brawley was false, same with Susan…
“Believing the victim” means exactly what you just said: a crime has been reported, we will investigate it fully because we believe a crime has been committed, and we need to get to the bottom of it.”

This has been a textbook case for why skepticism is always healthy and how wrongheaded the “believe victims” mantra of modern progressives is. A lot of people didn’t feel his story added up and/or was way too perfect when it first came out but were afraid to express skepticism for fear of being branded racist and/or…
Not to mention, there are NO other suspects other than the two brothers involved, nothing was caught on video (and Smollett was found on camera for all but approx 60 seconds in the timeline given for that night), etc. You are correct — there is NO WAY he isn’t lying.
Nahhh. There is NO good excuse for doing something like this, which re-victimizes real victims by making it just that much harder for them to be taken seriously. If he did this, he is a bad human.
Corporate income tax is not federal income tax for individuals.
Yeah, but AOC can crow about the $3 billion that Amazon won’t be getting... Never mind N.Y. will be losing out on$25 billion or more in tax revenue.
