1. The point that you couldn’t seem to clock is that investments (or a lottery ticket) are almost never “money in hand”, yet stocks, real estate, and other financial instruments (and lottery tickets) have value even before you sell them. But in your world, they don’t I guess?

That’s a ridiculous view, given that in both these cases there is a legal agreement stating the requirements for both parties.  I am guessing you don’t do much investing.

You can’t really lose something you never actually had.

I wish I could give this 100 stars. It is sad to see how the left has lost any ability to reason and instead is so ideologically driven that nothing can be evaluated using logic and data. “I just FEEL this way!”

Interesting that people in Queens, especially POC, don’t see this as a victory. It’s almost like they make decisions based upon what is good for their own community as opposed to what gets the most virtue-signaling credit and whatever furthers one’s political aspirations most. If only their representation actually

I am admittedly a fan of non-fiction books that delve deep into one weird topic or “thing”, such as:

Cod: The History of the Fish That Changed the World

“They are baffled about why they are people of interest,” Schmidt said.

Why is it that the left has become increasingly anti-science? The right has has evolution and climate change that they don’t WANT to believe, but GMO safety, vaccine safety, nuclear power safety and other such “nature is best” denials are the domain of the left.

“Maybe they didn’t say overtly racist things, but the context of the incident needs to be analyzed,” she said.

Another example of the male catriarchy.

I hate charts that don’t start at zero. Charts are meant to be able to show a visual comparison of things, and by not starting at zero, it completely skews the visual comparison. Stupid.

Why is one glaring fact never mentioned in these discussions, namely that people are not coupled up nearly as much as they were in the past? I bought my first house in 1991, but I could never have done it without someone else, and I was an electrical engineer making decent money. I had also never had a place to live

So to clear things up, a group of Muslim Americans explain what Sharia law means to them.

I tend to look a lot at whether the person is the one leaving or the one who got left. Someone leaving a relationship has usually been on their way out the door for some time, and so getting into something else “quickly” might not really be that quick compared to when they were really “done” with the last relationship.

While I feel sorry for Lee’s family, I get tired of hearing how trying to find the TRUTH of something terrible like this is upsetting for them and for others in their situation. Imagine how upsetting it might be to spend decades in prison for a crime you didn’t commit.  All too often this discomfort and desire for

Nothing like #identitypolitics and #collectiveguilt, which will sadly continue to be the downfall of the Democratic Party :(

Apparently you are.  Maybe read more than headlines.

Such an angry person, and nothing is worse than misdirected anger.

I have admittedly not tried TaxAct, so if their interface is much the same where it makes it easy for people who are a bit overwhelmed with doing their taxes (namely, a question driven path), then that’s great. My concern about things that are “free” are:
