Neat!

Nothing like watching a trainwreck slowly happen in front of your eyes.

Even if appropriate, internet tough-guy-ism is rarely helpful.

Neat!

I have the feeling that your childhood home has a lot of animal carcasses in shallow graves in the back yard?

Your parent's pride and joy!

Though I've been a Jalopnik regular for some years (that changes his handle every few months due to never writing down my password and having to create a new burner when cookies get deleted), and it's not popular with this crown, I really like minivans. I drove one in HS for some time, my folks always had one or two

You got me...we’re not that close so I’ve not had the courage to ask. And it’s not like we’re in this completely unattainable neighborhood either, so I don’t think he’s rolling in money.

That's the plan sir. The range on this one will be $13-15K with trade in, and I have no interest in getting a new vehicle that will be destroyed over the course of our ownership. So I'm looking for something that's already taken the brunt of the depreciation hit but still has legs.

I actually really like the Flex, and I think I'm going to get one for my main ride later on. But you just can't beat having sliding doors, especially for a relatively narrow garage.

That's why they're not on the list. My neighbor down the hill has one, looked at it and it's just not roomy enough for what we'll use it for. Good car though, could be a good second hauler.

Ford’s whole damn lineup is solid to spectacular. I like the Transit Connect a lot, but looking in the used category for this purchase, so I'll have to see if the used market has anything.

Even considering it's purpose and aim, that is a painfully ugly end result.

Children are basically dogs that slowly learn to talk, so this is very good advice.

We have a second on the way, and are looking to get a minivan. I wanted to get a Sienna with 4wd, then realized they are expensive. And children will destroy this thing.

When the shoe fits...

I have a neighbor that has not one, but two of these things. Weird looking cars, but he seems to like them.

Kinda old to still be using a binkie, but adorable otherwise.

If you have a $15,000 holiday gift budget, you and I need to become friends.
