As a Washington Team-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named football fan, i say change it. Just pick a better name than the Washington Wizards….god thats awful.

Whenever I’ve tried to be friends with someone after a breakup or rejection, it’s been painful. It physically hurts. When I’ve been on the other side, it’s awkward and I haven’t actually wanted to stay friends.

I got dumped pretty spectacularly, once. My ex-boyfriend’s birthday was four days later. I agonized very briefly over whether I should call him, or send a card, or something, to wish him a happy birthday, but ultimately decided not to.

“When Harry Met Sally” fooled me into sticking around far too long, waiting for him to have an epiphany that never came.

“What’s more likely and more common is that everyone discovers that the realities of just being friends still are far too brutal—you feel exactly the same as before, only heartsick, and now you have to pretend you don’t care if they fuck someone else. Oh, but you do care.”

Ditto - so many cavities. Doesn’t matter what I do. GF finally saw a dentist this month after having gone 5/6 years, no cavities. Me, every time I turn around. We have the same oral hygiene habits (except I probably floss a little more often) and she drinks soda while I generally refrain. *sigh*

Had the same problem.
Dentist gave me one of their prescription strength fluoride toothpastes and that pretty much took care of it.

My studies show that no matter what I do I will always get a cavity.

I wanted to stress that we’re using a hand that is likely missing fingers. ;)

I’ve never heard the phrase “count on a butcher’s hand” before but that’s hilarious.

This sounds like a ridiculous idea when you call it a “performance review” but it’s actually a really good idea to have scheduled “Let’s talk about our feelings” moments. Because this:

How long before this is turned into a movie starring Chris Hemsworth, Chaning Tatum, and Zac Efron as the inmates with Leonardo DiCaprio as their coach?

Fun fact: this is one of the most recommended documentaries in the post-Mormon community because of the parallels.

As a former “fresh off the boat” immigrant (what people have called me and my family) I completely believe the nytimes article. You want to meet people who exploit immigrants? Look at their closest community first and foremost. Talk about brutal. This is one area where I think that the “evil white man” is only one of

Good for her. There's no reason for her to take that shit.

I just recently went from red to blonde (neither my natural hair color). I’d been red for about 3 years. It took multiple dye jobs across a few weeks, and hundreds of dollars, and the blonde is still a little bit more strawberry than I’d like.
