FYI, Australia has a universal system (also called Medicare). You can rely on Medicare only (which is currently getting harder, as rates have not kept up with inflation), you can get private insurance (covering dental, optical, allied, ‘wellness’, and hospital services like premium tests, private rooms etc not covered…
