Considering the movie is about “bootleg” versions of movies/characters, it really did fit perfectly.

After running through Returnal all I could think about was amazing a modern, proper 3D Metroid would be.

Severance seems more structured with its questions and reveals than Lost did (which just threw any weird thing it could out there with a suggestion that it “connects”). From seems like it will go down the Lost path, I’m thinking Severance won’t.

I’m on the opposite side of that. It didn’t grab me in the first couple episodes, but I’ve been fully on board since around episode 3. They keep claiming they know exactly where it’s going, I guess we’ll find out.

One of the arguments against “Soulborne titles need difficulty selection” Is how easy you can get overpowered in the games if you choose to do so. So it isn’t just Elden Ring. It is a little harder to pull off in Bloodborne though.

Defeating Radhan lets you circumvent several other major bosses in your progression in the game, he needs to be tough. And he was, pre-nerf. I went back to beat him after the patch and was baffled that only one of the summons had been defeated, now I know why.

Agreed, it was very self-contained and I really appreciated that.

That GIF makes it look like the legendary Ball Fondlers movie. This looks fun.
