If you saw how much people pay for MMA, WWE, and boxing PPV, you’d see that $20 is criminally underpriced.  $120 is a good starting point, maybe $200 if there’s some good fights on the undercard.

This is structural unemployment, which is still an issue. Structural unemployment is the unemployment caused by a mismatch in jobs and skills - like a robotics factory being understaffed, with too few mechanics who can work on robots, while also displacing people who used to have these same jobs.

If it’s a weektime afternoon game, great culture fit.

Businesses will, in fact, accept smaller margins to the specific degree of price elasticity of demand. For example, gas stations change their prices multiple times a day as a result of competition, but the cost of their gas is fixed. They are obviously accepting different margins throughout the day.

The author decided not to date white people because she isn’t attracted to white people, or is generally more attracted to black men.

There is a difference between “feeling comfortable” in a work environment versus “feeling comfortable” with someone on a romantic setting.

Not dating people because you aren’t attracted to them is fine. Not sitting by them on the train isn’t fine, because it’s a train. You are sitting next to them, not dating them. One is about your romantic preferences, and one has literally no bearing on your life whatsoever.

I got a really nice farmhouse-style table with two benches and two chairs, on sale at World Market, for a total of about $1,200. I think at full retail it would have been $1,700.

Sugary foods might need some sort of additional tax, and it could pay for gym memberships for them.

It’s not a moral decision - the costs of my healthcare are higher because I have to subsidize people with lung cancer because they smoke. The taxes on tobacco products don’t come anywhere near paying for the negative effects that smoking has on society.

Jersey Shore was definitely better for the fact that we hadn’t figured out the “perfect reality show” kind of people at that point. They were just loud, aggressive drunk people who liked to tan all in the same house. Now, when you see something like Floribama Shore or Siesta Key, it’s obvious that they are focused on

The mopbot isn’t that good. I have one. It’s nice but not as good as the vacuum bot is for vacuuming.
