If all you want is for a vehicle to show up fast and make a big boom, then a high-speed F-16 sortie may make sense. Should be highly effective against targets like Godzilla. For less obvious targets, zooming overhead at 600mph and dropping one or two bombs may not be the best solution. And that’s why other solutions

“That copper in the paint gave it its red color.”

The GI Joe comic books were far darker than the TV cartoon. Minor characters (“red shirts” if you will) dropped like flies in the comics.

There really are people that tune in to sports programming to see sports. They get annoyed by political discussion on sports shows ... especially on the proverbial “slow news day” when every 30-minute show will cover the same “story” from the same 3 angles ... every 30 minutes ... for 24 hours.

Well, to be fair, she turned left.

Search for “Alfa” with an “f” and see if you come up with more.

“Iran not being a cake walk”? Doing exactly what in, or to, Iran would not be a cake walk? I think the problem is that you can’t achieve a goal that doesn’t exist. What would be accomplished by attacking? Maybe some logic is filtering through the orange haze.

Wow, that’s so judgmental. Seriously.

I think you are basing your worldview on too few data points. I got through 4 years of college in the aughts and never saw that book on a bookshelf, nor did I ever hear of it until now.  Certainly nobody ever pretended to have read it in my presence.

Yes, we can pick apart Pearl Jam, Rage Against the Machine, and others. And we will. And, really, we did back in the 90s as well.

Haha.  I was also thinking that, hmm, in light of the corporate emails I have seen, this recent email from Hackett seemed rather positive and forward-looking.

False.  RX-8 first gen, beautiful.  RX-8 post-refresh, not so much.

Red shows off the body lines ... and that’s the problem.  Hence, release it in white, which hides the body lines.

Bingo.
