Really? A 255-hp base engine is underpowered? It’s supposed to be a bit faster than the previous 330i, which C&D drove to 14.0-second 1/4-mile at 100mph. I think that’s going to be OK for a luxo-commuter car.

Why would your gauges need backlighting if it wasn’t dark out?  IE, why is the backlighting on in the first place?

BMW’s turbo 4 is plenty strong for a base model entry-lux sedan.  You’re really making an issue out of nothing.

If you find the 2018 3-series too small, I think you need to look into minivans. I doubt you will find the limo rear legroom you seek here.
