My family went snowshoeing for the first time last winter and loved it. A few tips - bring water. Even if it’s cold out, you will work up a thirst. Especially if you are going uphill or it’s sunny. Don’t overdress. And don’t over do it. It’s harder than you think especially if you have kids with you.
I don’t know. The show seemed to celebrate what colossal assholes they were.
I understood that from a intellectual perspective but I didn’t like it. The casual cruelty they displayed was just so off putting to me. It’s harder for me to watch shows or read books where people are petty and vindictive and mean than ones where people are actually being really horrible. I know I’m not explaining…
It’s probably a reaction to the accolades the show received and how much other members of my family love it. It’s petty, I fully acknowledge that.
I never found the show very funny and since the main characters are all horrible people I couldn’t watch it. It maybe idealistic of me or immature or whatever, but in order to order to enjoy a show or book or movie I have to like at least one character. I could not stand anyone on the show. And, yes, I know it was the…
Man, I hate that show. HATE IT.
Ice skating parents are too busy bitching about the wine selection in first class to yell at their kid.
Yes. I was a coach for my daughter’s U8 team and can confirm this.
He also made some really stupid comments about paying mortgages on two properties so he knew how hard it was for a “regular” family to get by.
Because women are more efficient and only need 8 to do the conning of 11 dudes? See, it’s really a slam on men.
I remember him from Life. I really liked that show but it went off the rails pretty quick.
I read Anne of Green Gables to my son. Then went ahead and reread them to finish off the series. Going to start reading them to my daughter over Christmas break.
I will be using this tomorrow in a contract negotiation post mortem to describe someone’s positions. And on many many more occasions as I love it muchly.
I understand completely. When I was younger, I got so much comfort from the Anne of Green Gables books. I would read and reread them constantly.
I like iCarly. No one over the age of 12 should like Wizards of Waverly Place. It’s such a shitty Harry Potter rip off.
I practiced for about three and half four years before escaping to corporate drone life. Eventually, I found a really interesting career using a lot of my education and odd skills/quirks. I now work for a big ass bank that’s actually a really great employer. I hated practicing though I have some great stories. I’m…
All of those make sense to me except Nature Conservancy. I thought they did a lot of good stuff.
I actually use my legal education a lot in my current job even though I don’t practice.
Oh, what’s on your list? I’m curious because there’s a lot of stores and products I avoid.
