So, are we ready to call No Man’s Sky this generation’s best Spore impression yet?

Be honest, you just copied that from her bio didn’t you? I mean you don’t actually watch this garbage do you?

I’m sure their tens upon tens of loyal fans will still tune into NBA.com or whatever C tier cable channel it’s on. You know, if they don’t have literally anything else to do that night like wash the dog, or the neighbor’s dog, or just some random stray dog.

I love how the crowd goes absolutely mild after that shot with polite, obligatory, applause. How little do you have to do on a given night that you end up at a WNBA game?

To be fair he did go to all the trouble of raping that woman with Rose to make sure nothing got out of hand.

No, slavery is someone working who has no say in the matter and typically isn’t paid a dime. I simply think that private entities should be allowed to pay or be paid as much or as little as they wish so long as both sides freely agree.

That’s certainly an option they have available to them. However, they shouldn’t cry and whine when/if Harvard replaces them all for pennies on the dollar and they are left unemployed.

All the protections? Probably not. Minimum wage specifically? Absolutely! The government should not concern it’s self with what two private entities decide is an acceptable rate of pay for a given task. Just because you perform a task for 40 hours a week it should not entitle you to a certain quality of life. The only

If they willingly take a job that doesn’t pay them enough to eat then, yes, they can just fucking starve. Or they can go find a job that offers enough for them to eat. Or they can cut their expenses to accommodate being able to eat.

I don’t have a problem with workers striking. Good for them. However, neither do I have a problem with Harvard bringing in people who are willing to do the work for what Harvard is offering to replace the striking workers, firing the striking workers, then having them arrested for trespassing if they refuse to leave.

I have no problem allowing them to. Where I take issue is the notion that employers should be forced to take on dependents rather than employees. Look, if you don’t want to work for less than 35k a year that’s up to you. However if you can’t find someone to pay you that much then that’s on you not them.

Sure! If you can find someone to willingly work for a quarter an hour then good on you. It should be nobody’s business so long as both parties agree to the pay.

It should be of zero concern to the employer what their employees can or can not afford to do with the money they are paid. The employee/employer relationship is a simple one that has one side paying the other side for a task to be completed. Again, these are employees NOT dependents. If the employee can’t live on

What one can afford is totally irrelevant to the issue. I can afford to pay the guy that sells hot dogs outside my office 20 bucks a hot dog but he can go fuck himself with those hot dogs if he thinks I’m going to. The value of a task isn’t tied to how much somebody can afford. The only thing that should matter is if

No, everyone does NOT deserve a “living wage” get the fuck out of here with that nonsense. When you hire someone to do a job you are paying for a task to be performed not taking on a dependent. If the person doesn’t like the pay being offered they are free to tell you to go pound sand.

When you hire someone to do a job you aren’t taking on a fucking dependent you are paying someone to do a task. The notion that employers should provide a “living wage” when the value of the work being done barely merits minimum wage is fucking asinine.

Why should Harvard pay them for work that they don’t need them to do? If I was looking for a job that paid 35k a year and provided me with year round work I don’t think the dining hall of a college is where I’d start. They want Harvard to pay them a full time salary when they are only being asked to do part time work.

How about any job that someone will do for a “sub-living wage”. Just because you show up someplace for 40 hours a week and successfully manage to not shit your pants doesn’t mean your entitled to a certain amount of money. If Harvard can find people to do that same work for a fraction of what those people are asking

He was goodly enough to sign both the box and the cartridge of the Genesis version of Shaq Fu for me a few years back. People were standing in line with basketballs, sports cards, jerseys, and there I was with a copy of Shaq Fu. He got a kick out of it. He also got 200 dollars for the autographs which is more than I

Do it right!
