This is by far the most balanced article I’ve seen on this report. Thank you for not writing another “Android will rip-off the iPhone X” angle. Using the Essential phone as the lead photo is the icing on the cake.

Title is a bit misleading...

What we do know is that Apple will sell lots of HomePods in the months to come

whine and pule like it will make a difference lol

LOL at the reporter who thinks she knows more about cyber-security than a roomful of Google engineers.

This is every bit as insidious as Apple holding money overseas to avoid taxes. As a public company they owe it to the shareholders to maximize profits by playing the game as best as they legally can as it’s laid out.

And give up my well deserved “thank you”? Nah. Offer your seat, and if they have an attitude, shrug it off knowing that you tried to do the right thing.

So they held it back to wait until it was “ready” and then they’re releasing it missing some features... I don’t think “ready” means what they think it means.

LOL, you and your hyperbole. Obviously the only way to catch us up is with ridiculous dialog. Of course I’m an idiot for not automatically assuming all possible timelines outside of what I’m shown on screen. It’s a good thing the movies don’t do any other unnecessary and blatant explanations about what happens between

If you’re too dense to understand the difference between

It’s been 30 years since we last saw the heroes. In the books she’s been given some Jedi training. So there’s no reason she hasn’t in the either.

I just want a believable story. You know there are people who “got” it and still think it was a ridiculous moment, right? You’re not some superior intellect because you had this deep understanding about a scene that all the complainers were too stupid to follow.

Then you really don’t want it addressed.

My life goal is to get to a place where I have everything so figured out and perfect that shit like this is actually something I worry about.

You didn’t address my argument. At all.

So by that logic if Han Solo just came back for Episode IX and was like, “I fell into an escape pod with a doctor!” we should just accept it because even though we didn’t see it doesn’t mean it can’t happen? What kind of grade school logic is that?

Hyperbole aside there is a middle ground. Is a simple, more current throwaway line to suggest an evolution of her ability “over-explaining”? I think you did hit the nail on the head in a round-about way though. People who have no issue with the scene seem to want to feel like they’re somehow smarter for “getting”

Another non-answer to a question that you totally know the answer to. You’re all talk and name-calling.

As I keep saying:

Remember when you were a kid and you’d be wrong about something so rather than present facts you’d name call instead? This is like that.
