It’s has the same real world limitations that a top of the line MacBook Pro would have, outside some edge cases for people that machine intensive things locally. The shiniest Apple logo still won’t connect to a non-existent network.
Alternatively, does any other OS run Google’s apps better?
No, you just don’t get it. First you compare buying a machine that is twice the size as just flat out “better” for no real world reason other than a spec list. Then you compare using a machine with a 12 inch screen, real keyboard, and USB ports to using an iPad. No. Acting like you can do any real work on an iPad is…
How about waiting until it goes on sale before talking about delays like they’re fact?
Is the 1 in 90,000 fail rate of TouchID really that oppressive?
Yeah, but as Apple and iPhone users told us after Touch ID was revealed and before Android fingerprint readers were common, putting in a passcode is such a ridiculous pain. Think of all the seconds you will lose!
I think people who are prone to dropping phones shouldn’t invest in this device
The quality and accuracy of Face ID haven’t changed. It continues to be 1 in a million probability of a random person unlocking your iPhone with Face ID
it seems more likely that the company is pushing customers to pay for its new Preferred Care protection plan instead
It’s almost like developers actually started adding microtransactions in response to pirating so they can try to still make money off the deadbeats and thus pirates have created the shitstorm they complain about. But that logic is in major conflict with thieves trying to justify their actions.
Someone who just never has any disposable income might be attracted to game piracy to help scratch that itch for a game they want to play.
It’s absurd that you think the bad developers don’t deserve your money but somehow you still deserve to play their game. Video games are not a “right”. Stop trying to justify theft and why you’re a shitty person.
Easy. Turn down all lunch invites, pass on all events that have free food, and become a social pariah.
I’ve had major problems with USPS just bulk “delivering” all their packages at the start of their route and actually delivering them at their leisure as part of their regular route. It really throws off and defeats the purpose of tracking and REALLY complicated things when they don’t get around to delivering your…
So the neighbor steals your package and gives it back with his hand out for a reward? What am I missing here? It seems to me like he was the only one who you needed protection from.
Many companies, especially Apple, putting marketing and branding above ALL
Amazing how most stories on this, and even most headlines themselves, really throw Android under the bus and completely ignore the following point:
LOL, ok
So much FUD here. First, with the expansion of Google’s product line-up, they re-purposed the store to only include products made by Google or certified by them. An Amazon store front has been stood up to fill the gap.
