Its Jalopnik. They’ve always had an anti-Tesla slant, as do most of the commentors. Throw in a little Tin Foil Hat Big Brother Is Watching kind of scare, and its guaranteed to be a hot click baity topic.

This actually makes a lot of sense. Charging quickly like this degrades the batteries faster. After a certain point of wear leveling, Tesla tries to preserve as much battery life as possible.
How are people mystified by the effectiveness of these ads, or by the things people will say in these clinics?
That’s hurtful. To dickbags.
That of all things.
That this is not universally hated across the US makes me think our great country is on the downward slope as a society.
Unless battery technology advances by about 300-500% in the near future in terms of density, you’re not gonna see anything notably smaller and compact than a Tesla, not with any real driving range. Yup. The only difference is that a Tesla-run body shop would not take to Twitter to complain about Tesla’s part shortage. Elon Musk’s famous thin-skin at work here.
I hear you on power to weight - I used to have a bike myself and I’ve spent time on some serious sport bikes such as a Suzuki 1000S and a GSX-R 750 (who hasn’t?)
