And yup, low population density areas will still almost certainly require personal transportation, and congestion won’t be an issue there. I live in LA, and I’d say that Americans’ aversion to population density, public transportation, and their stubborn insistence to drive everywhere is THE biggest detriment to that logistical freedom you’re talking about.

Funny, that’s my FRUSTRATION with momentum cars like that: most people go a full 30mph slower in turns than you can/want to, and you’re blocked. That’s a very well reasoned argument, except that he kicked what just about anyone else on earth would agree were the actual military experts. That sort of throws a wrench in that “let the experts handle it” theory imo.
