She asked a friend to lie for her to “ruin” his career. When you do that , you lose credibility. It’s a disservice to all women who have been assaulted.

Women are rarely lying in these cases, but when there is proof that she is asking her friend to lie for her, it seems like this might be one of those rare situations.

No, she released photos of bruises. That isn’t the same thing. Especially given that the same friend who she asked to lie also said she got in an unrelated bar fight on the same night.

I know a number of Native Americans who use the term Indian to refer to themselves. It’s not as problematic a term as white people think it is.

The American Indian College Fund, The American Indian Movement (AIM), The Smithsonian Museum of The American Indian, Institue of American Indian Arts (IAIA), all of these are projects and organizations run by or in conjunction with native groups. I’m assuming probably not rednecks.
