I’m not going to call you crazy, just wrong. The award is determined by regular season play because it’s what the entire league has in common. So players are evaluated on their performance over a longer period, against common opponents, and with a large enough sample size to get a comprehensive view of their

This is why Congress critters had much larger staffs pre-Clinton era. Those staffers would spend the days poring over the bills and summing them up for the Reps who lacked policy expertise in some areas. Then Gingrich came along and axed a lot of that in order to force more ill-informed votes and make them rely on

Was his name, by chance, Joseph Ducreux?

This is magnificent. A perfect unique microcosm.

You know she doesn’t even play games right?

Same. She generally had some good points, and I didn’t ever vehemently disagree or whole-heartedly agree with her, but she fell really, REALLY hard into the confirmation bias trap.

It’s funny, while I don’t disagree with her, I always had problems with her examples. They tended to show a surface level understanding of the games she was critiquing.

Hmm, I suppose jealousy may be accurate. I am well-off, but I do (sometimes) work for my money. I don’t consider what Sarkeesian does as “work”, or even anything that needs funded, because popular YouTubers do videos like this, or of better quality than this on a far more consistent basis than an average of 3-4

Well, even if he did mean the Bay Area, base demographics of the ethnic makeup of the area are meaningless in this context, regardless:

You can’t just look at the city demographics and say “hey, there’s 25% Hispanics here, 25% of your employees should be Hispanic”. You have to look at the demographics for qualified applicants, which could paint a very different picture. For example, twitter isn’t going to have many black employees if most black

As I said to another person.

My question, are all companies supposed to selectively hire X amount of what ever race will please people? What happened to interview candidates not being targeted for their race, religion, or sex? Are companies supposed to stop and then selectively hire black individuals just because their companies diversity numbers

Yeah writers like Bryan are just really out of touch.

One thing about articles like this: it bases things off of population instead of the hiring pool available. For instance, African Americans make up 13% of the US population. 20% of the African American population has a bachelor’s degree or more. 6% of technology graduates are African American. So 6% * (20% * 13%)?

So Bryan, how do you propose we get more women and minorities involved in STEM fields so the industry isn’t so overburdened by us, “same-thinking white dudes” that grew up being called nerds, went to school, then got great careers.

Pretty sure it was his WAR that landed Thames in Korea too.
