Shit my old manual 911 is probably 0-60 in the upper 6 second range and that’s still way more fun than the 5.1s my dual-clutch Audi will do it in.

Given the skateboard architecture, it’d be a yuge miss for them to not do this. Bigly.

“Play stupid games, win stupid prizes” is my favorite version of that sentiment.

These were huge in my school because... I didn’t know why then, and still don’t.

Dear lord what is that, some shit out of the HALO franchise? Hard pass.*

I think V10 meant, “the best E30 M3 in the world.”

I had similar questions about that section, and about the scientific method piece... I’m open to being proven wrong, and certainly a lot of scientists throughout have been White, but the actual scientific method itself is pretty objective and devoid of anything-ness.

I had a 2014 A4 sport package 6MT a while back, with a stage 1 tune and some other mods. Lots of fun to drive, especially once all of the handling mods were done.

1/3.

I prefer to so I can resell them down the line. Even if you only get $2 back, that’s better than nothing.

My theory on why it was equipped with a sunroof, and this is complete inference, is that they’d use the factory sunroof wiring and sunroof switch for top operation. At least that’s how I’d do it for the most OE-look possible.

Driven a handful of 986s but never a 981, that being said I hear nothing but good things.

In my household’s experience owning 7 new or CPO luxury cars over the past decade, most modern luxury cars are actually pretty reliable if you get one that doesn’t have a known fatal flaw. They’re not cheap to fix when they do go wrong, and service costs are a bit higher, but it’s usually worth it in my opinion.

I mean yeah but it’s also (subjectively) the best-looking CUV, (objectively) the best-handling CUV extant, and even the 2.0 will beat a lot of non-lux CUVs from an acceleration perspective. Plus it’s a Porsche.

Your overall point stands.

‘90s Civics are woefully underrated for their handling capabilities. I had a few in high school/college and they were great driver’s cars.

The remaining 1/10 is a performance suspension, which they never bother with. They sit way too high and are too floaty to be a true performance car.

Oh that was always my assumption. $200 flares is a lot cheaper and easier than proper bodywork lol

I sold a 993 during the pandemic, took a slight value hit but not as bad as I expected. It didn’t/hasn’t yet hurt higher-income people that badly, so buyers are still out there. It’ll sell sooner or later and for a reasonable number.

Agreed.
