I flew JFK-FRA on a Lufthansa 747-8 a few years back., and on a Lufthansa A380 on the return leg of the same trip, actually. Glad I got to go on one of each of these giants at least once.

I forgot about this, entirely, until i just saw the picture.
I’m 31 and I never leave the house without a Swiss automatic analog watch, ever.
I saw this exact car at a Cars and Coffee last fall; it’s amazing. And the best part is that they drove it ~10 miles on public roads into the C&C on dealer plates.
I never said it was a rocket, it certainly wasn’t. That being said, some of the most fun cars are the ones where you can use 100% of it’s performance 100% of the time. NA Miatas, hot hatchbacks, older performance cars, and these F150s all fall into this bucket.
Manual straight-6 F150s like this are surprisingly actually quite fun to drive.
On the whole, 996s are rising and have been for a while now. Demuro mentioned it in a video last week also, actually.
Not anymore, they bottomed out a few years back and have been creeping back up. Not a huge appreciation, but a bit.
So are they now going to admit that the plural of Lexus is Lexi?
Was about to flex my middle school Latin skills from decades ago and drop this knowledge, but you beat me to it.
That’s the perfect spec for that era of F150. One of the easiest manuals to drive and (if it has air conditioning) all of the things you need with nothing you don’t need.
Thankfully my fiancee and I both agree, no minivans. The trade-off for this is that my daily driver needs to have 4 doors but that is a sacrifice I am willing to make.
Right, this is the correct answer. Audi does this and I can’t imagine the incremental cost is that significant relative to the safety increase.
TIL the Nissan Armada is still in production.
Agreed, but I have a different justification.
More or less.
BRZ/FRS/86s look awful at stock height.
Crap I saw this afterwards. Retracted my NP vote.
Porsche air-cooled flat 6 lasted for 34 years... petition to add to your list.
Agreed.
