Is it nostalgia or just the fact that the character is still popular? I mean, the last movie was whay, 3 years ago? He still has a cartoon on the air, not to mention comics, and appeared in Civil War this Summer. Can you actually call it nostalgia when the character never really went away?

Should Spider-Man really be in your list of examples? It seems to me that the reasons we are getting a new Spider-Man movie have very little to do with nostalgia.

People in Bulgaria move their heads up and down to say no and shake their heads side to side to say yes

He won the election based on the rules of the election. If it were decided by popular vote, then each participant’s strategy would be different.

We have for over 200 years and it’s not going to change now.

I would feel sorry for you, but a few months ago I felt sorry for Cleveland, only for their basketball team to promptly curbstomp my basketball team in the playoffs and go on to win the championship. So nah.

counterpoint: there is no significant part to this “story”

If we demand billionaire owners pay for their own stadiums, I think we can expect millionaire players to foot the bill for the extra hotel room.

hillary clinton blew a 3-1 lead

It is weird. Now it is in IMAX for some showings.....all evening.
