Tournament play is UGLY. When the goal is just to win one match and one match only, it tends to bring out the stingiest defenses and the most timid versions of a team. I’m a transportation engineer, and there really is no simple solution to this problem for most applications. I live in a Vision Zero city, and while it’s a nice sentiment, it simply isn’t attainable due to the simple fact that you can’t fix stupid.

It must be hard to look for things like this to be mad about, and then to be mad for ALL the wrong reasons.

The fact that keepers are more likely to save it by coming off the line is EXACTLY the reason it’s against the rules.
