Really interesting article. I had never heard of this as it was before my time. I've had several drinks at the chi chi Casa Del Mar, never suspected its past!

Thank you! I question my sanity when I think of how esteemed a designer he is. To me, the EMP is just flat out ugly. Is there anyone, anyone, who thinks this looks good? Or evokes music? Or is inspiring or challenging or just anything besides ugly?
Me, too. I think it has to do with the fact that she's obviously genuinely passionate and loves the (to many) superficial and "glamourous" work she does. She's just so enthused about all the little details that make design great, it's hard not to root for her.
I am replying to back you up. To me, the terms for use are: Is it a thought, or is it a feeling? One can feel cold, feel sad, feel attacked, feel nervous, feel elated, feel full, etc. One thinks about topics, solutions, problems, plans of action. "I feel" is fine for personal life interactions. "I think" is…
So many lulz! "You sound unemployed!" Hahaha.
Sadly, it's probably both. Also probably: Celebrity!! She'll never again be able to gauge an average reaction from a person. Oprah is a woman of many complicated facets and occasionally seems wildly out of touch with any known reality. But this is a good quote.
Just replying cause I need help with this too! I don't want to be the stinky broad at the gym.
Photoshopped so as to appear as Hilary Duff. Bizarre.
Looked desperately for a .gif of Holly Hunter crying in Broadcast News to add to your gallery, but alas I don't have .gif hunting skills.
Oh, f'in gross. Y'know, I've been debating whether to use the Jacuzzi at my gym and this just sealed the big NO. Christ!
Replying to encourage you to read your replies. Lung cancer, like most cancers, can occur in anyone at anytime regardless of behavior, environment or circumstances. Sad but true! Obviously, though, not smoking and staying free from as many toxins and pollutants as possible reduces the chances you'll get it THAT way.
Agreed. It's ridiculous. Personally I'm pro Jennifer all the way. She looks great and has seriously made the most of what the good lord gave her. Power to her.
I think you're on to something there.
I guess. I still think he's young enough to know better and simply doesn't care. True enough though that I haven't heard anyone my age or younger use it.
My father says this all the time when referring to people. It makes me livid, and he laughs. He's only 65. So, for what it's worth, it's still out there.
Seriously. On the other hand, if that photo IS actually real it looks a lot more like a scar from an injury and not some kind of cellulite sag. Inquiring minds want to know!
Absolutely. I don't like her at all, but nonetheless, I see her on the cover of Rolling Stone ala Winona.
This site is so disappointing sometimes! These tweets are worth writing about, but to sum them up as ignorant and racist is ridiculous. Katie, please revise.
It's WAY more intense and hard hitting than Closer, just so you know. Closer is like a teen comedy by comparison.
Jessica should have stopped at her own critique of Jez's ridiculous headlines and left it there. I read this headline to say that Jane Pratt was raped at Disney world.
