Yes! I'm willing to bet that they could have easily embedded LEDs below the surface of the ice to make it slightly more high-tech. Watching people drag state cutouts and plop them down on the ice was very amateurish.

I liked that as well, until I saw them dragging the colored states out and placing them on top of the ice. They couldn't have embedded LEDs below the surface? Would have been much cooler to see each state light up instead of a group of people carrying state cutouts over the display.
